Privacy Policy

Data Collection and Purpose

In accordance with GDPR, we only collect data necessary for the service:

• Account Management: Email, name, profile picture.
• Security: Phone number (anti-bot verification).
• AI Processing: PDF documents and images imported by the user.
• Payments: Transactions are processed exclusively by Stripe. No banking data is stored on our servers.
• Messaging and social features: conversation content, metadata (timestamps, participants), and media references you insert (e.g. links to GIFs hosted by third parties).
• Technical subprocessors: document processing and AI-generated content (providers such as Google / Gemini), data hosting (Supabase, EU), payments (Stripe), and when you use GIF search, transmission of search terms from our servers to the relevant provider (e.g. Giphy), strictly as needed to operate the service.

Conservation and Security

Encryption: All personal data and content are encrypted in transit and at rest.

Automatic File Cleanup

PDF files and images submitted for import are automatically removed from our temporary storage a few minutes after AI processing when that pipeline applies. Content you create or keep in the app (lessons, messages, flashcards, quiz results, etc.) remains stored in your personal space until you delete it or delete your account.

Deletion: The user can delete their account and all their data instantly via their settings. After 3 years of inactivity, accounts are automatically deleted.

Rights (GDPR)

Intellectual Property and AI

Imported documents remain the exclusive property of the user. Atlas Learning guarantees that no user content is used to train public artificial intelligence models.
