Cookies Policy
Because transparency is essential, here is how we use connection witnesses.
🍪 1. What is a cookie?
A cookie (or connection witness) is a small text file stored on your computer or smartphone by your browser. It allows the site to remember your actions and preferences over a given period.
🛡️ 2. Why we use them
On Atlas Learning, we limit the use of cookies to what is strictly necessary. Without them, you could not stay logged in to your account or pay for your subscription. We never sell your data and use no targeted advertising cookies.
📋 3. Detail of services used
Here is the simplified list of third-party tools that can drop a cookie on your machine:
- Auth & Data (Supabase): Allows us to recognize you as soon as you open Atlas so you find your courses immediately.
- Payment (Stripe): Secures your bank transactions. It's the world leader in online payment.
- Legal.cookies_svc_crisp
- Theme Preferences: Remembers if you prefer 'Dark' or 'Light' mode.
- Performance (Vercel): Allows us to know if the site is fast or if there are technical errors without ever identifying you personally.
⚙️ 4. How to manage your choices
You can block cookies via your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox). However, keep in mind that if you block everything, Atlas Learning will no longer function correctly (you would be logged out at each page change).
📢 5. Need specific details?
If a technical term still seems unclear, send us a small message by email. We'll be happy to explain it simply!
